The 6 Best Building Science Accounts to Follow on Instagram

We follow hundreds of influencers, builders, designers, and all-around inspiring people on Instagram. In fact, a few months ago we highlighted 10 of our favorite Residential Builders and Remodelers on Instagram. But with more than a billion active users and accounts on Instagram, we knew there was more to uncover.

Follow these six accounts for inspirational feeds that deliver informative content on building science and high-performance homebuilding.

@buildingsciencefightclub  If you only want to add one account to your feed, this is the one. All hail the queen of building science, Christine Williamson!

@jacksonandrewsbuilding  Encouraging clients to raise their expectations for customer service, building science and craftsmanship.  More than just a tagline, you can see this dedication on display in JABD’s feed.

@homeperformance  Talk about embracing new media! Grace and Corbett Lunsford might be the busiest builders you know.  Podcasters. YouTubers. Instagrammers. And now they’re creating the first-ever series on measured home performance and building science, Home Diagnosis TV!

@rrbuild_design  At R&R Design and Building, it’s a family affair.  Follow along as Bobby, Robbie and Rick McMillan “provide value through home performance building solutions” in the Peach State and beyond.

@constructioninstruction  Building Science for Everyone, Everywhere.  How awesome is that?  Mark LaLiberte, Gorde Cooke, and Justin Wilson deliver exactly the kind of content every builder needs right now.  Plus, they have an awesome app and a great workshop series.

Of course, we can’t ignore Matt Risinger. Listed in our best builders on Instagram post, @risingerbuild is a one-stop shop for all things building science, craftsmanship, and best practices for building and remodeling. A must-follow, for sure!
