Thanks and Giving – Happy Holidays from ECHOtape
Wow. How did we get here so fast?? A busy year behind us; another exciting year ahead of us. Before the holidays take over all of our lives, I want to take a moment to share a few things we’re most grateful for:
You, the ECHOtape community. We know it is just tape but it’s our tape, and we’re very proud of it. Plus, we’re so grateful that you have turned to us to help you seal, stick and shape your projects.
Where we’ve been. 2015 has been a big year. To name some of our favorite moments: We announced our new insulation tape line. We launched a new website, and created our first company video. We’ve joined forces with HomeDepot.com to accelerate our vision of bringing better tape to the marketplace. And we’ve talked about our mission everywhere from the Home Energy Magazine to Home Talk USA.
Where we’re going. First is our commitment to value innovation while listening to our customers to help them solve their pain points and problems. We are on the lookout for a constant flow of new ideas and different approaches to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future. Second, we are doubling down on our investment in the building, construction and insulation industries as this industry faces challenges that will require more and more performance and specialty products. We’re working around the clock to meet this need so we can be ready for what is to come.
Our legacy of caring. For the past several years, rather than sending cards or gifts for the holiday season, we select a charity that will either better the lives of children, families in need, or in some way assist humanity itself. Last year, it was The One Drop Foundation. This year, we have selected Plan International, a development organization operating in 51 countries across Africa, America and Asia to promote and protect children’s’ rights.
Plan International’s “Because I Am A Girl” campaign addresses the issue of gender discrimination around the world. The goal of the campaign is to promote rights of girls and bring millions of girls out of poverty around the world. The campaign focuses on inequality faced by girls in developing countries, and promotes projects to improve opportunities for girls in education, medical care, family planning, legal rights, and other areas.
Our commitment to you. As always, we’ll also continue our commitment to our employees, and to the communities in which we operate and proudly call home. And to you, our valued associates, who have placed your confidence and trust in us.
From our house to yours, may you find health, happiness and many blessings this year and always.
