Remembering Kyle Beaulieu

“The legacy of a life well-lived is felt in the hearts of those we touch.”

For those of us at ECHOtape, Kyle Beaulieu’s legacy is felt in every laugh, every lesson, and every connection he made over more than 32 years with our company. Remembering Kyle is not about marking an end—it’s about celebrating a life full of energy, generosity, and unwavering passion.

Kyle served as our Director of Sales for Canada and the Eastern United States, but to those of us who worked with him, he was so much more than a title. He was a mentor, a friend, and a constant source of encouragement. His leadership shaped our sales team, yes, but it also shaped our culture. He brought a unique blend of humor, kindness, and drive that inspired everyone around him to be better, both professionally and personally. Kyle’s generosity extended beyond family and colleagues. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel seen, valued, and supported.

Celebrating Kyle Through Shared Stories

Kyle had a way of turning ordinary workdays into moments you’d never forget.  Cherie Edelstein shares: “Kyle has been such a huge part of our world for so long. His experiences, his stories, his ideas can be heard all across our organization. His imprint is everywhere. And it wasn’t just in the big things like the deals he made, the accounts he landed, the knowledge he shared. It was in the small things, the way he shook everyone’s hands, hugged you, flashed that amazing smile. He was truly interested in how you were doing, and in what you were doing, no matter what corner of the company you worked in. He had that incredible ability to connect with everyone. And no one told stories better than him. He laughed every day. He was an ECHOtape warrior, he was our treasure and we miss him every day.”

Chris Roberts remembers traveling the Deep South together, where Kyle’s reactions to new experiences were always larger than life. Chris shares, “On one road trip, after hearing my southern accent for the first time, Kyle exclaimed, ‘What the heck was that? It sounded like a banjo just came out of your mouth!’—a moment that had me laughing for years.” And when he encountered Chick-fil-A for the first time, he treated it as a revelation, curious and enthusiastic, eager to understand every detail.

He also had a gift for seeing potential in people. Tim Andrisani recalls Kyle taking a chance on him despite limited experience, mentoring him on professionalism and sales skills that still shape his career today. Kyle didn’t just teach the job—he taught confidence, curiosity, and courage.

Those who knew him remember his warmth, humor, and kindness. Alicia Troli shares that even as a first-time professional, Kyle was always willing to answer questions, guide, and make you feel like you belonged. Michael Drexler says it perfectly: “He filled every room with energy and made your day better just by being around him!”

Mac O. McArdle remembers a dinner in Chicago when Kyle realized he had forgotten to leave a tip. Rather than brush it off, Kyle returned to the restaurant the next day to make it right—an act of quiet integrity that spoke volumes about who he was.

Mike Grevatt remembers Kyle’s unwavering dedication to his sales team, his relentless energy, and his infectious smile. Always impeccably dressed, always high-energy, and famously never on a flight that left on time, Kyle became known for his humor, persistence, and refusal to give up. He wasn’t always the first to embrace change—but once he did, he backed it 100%.

For Nathalie Abdelhadi, Kyle’s impact shaped an entire career. One year into working at ECHOtape, Kyle invited her into his office and offered her an Inside Sales position—an opportunity that led to a sales role and ultimately to the position she holds today, nearly 21 years later. Kyle was an exceptional teacher and trainer, someone whose sessions you never forgot. He always had a smile, always made time to thank people, and always made work more enjoyable. He was always encouraging and the best at teaching and training.  If you were lucky to sit in on one of his training sessions, you NEVER forgot it! He always had a smile that lit up a room, and went out of his way to thank people, making work more enjoyable.

Marc Grenier remembers Kyle as a mentor, a friend, and a great father—someone whose love of life and ability to make others feel special left a permanent mark. “I miss his calls, his smile, his sarcastic humor—and most of all, the way he made me feel,” Marc shares.

Jim Psihogios describes Kyle as driven, knowledgeable, and deeply committed. “Kyle, was without question a salesman and a people person, he was driven, knowledgeable and committed to his job. His ability to connect with people set him apart. When we had questions or challenges, he was often the one who would give guidance. He didn’t just know applications, he knew how to make tape work. Above all he was a friend and confidant, he offered support when it was needed most and stood firmly for what he believed was right. He fought for fairness, integrity and for me, his values defined his professional and personal life. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.”

A Legacy That Lives On

Whether mentoring a colleague, sharing a laugh on the road, teaching a training session you’d never forget, or simply showing up with energy and kindness, Kyle left his mark—big and small—on everyone who knew him.

As we honor Kyle Beaulieu, we remember a life lived with passion, generosity, and heart. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit, values, and influence remain woven into the fabric of ECHOtape—and into all of us who were lucky enough to work alongside him.
