Happy New Year from ECHOtape
As we look forward to a new year and celebrate the past, I would like to thank each of you — our customers, our co-workers, our friends and collaborators — for all of your contributions. I’m proud of what we accomplished this year, and it’s energizing to feel the momentum and enthusiasm our company is building in the marketplace.
What does 2015 hold for us? Well, this will come as no surprise: ECHOtape will continue to evolve as a company, and we will continue to obsess over our customers. But what we are most excited about is a new social commitment that we, as a corporation, have embraced. For the past several years, rather than sending cards or gifts for the holiday season, we have chosen to donate to a charity that in some way helps to make a better place for children. We have seen first hand the care and compassion extended to some of our members’ children, in their time of need. Among the charities we have supported are The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Special Olympics, The Children’s Wish Foundation, The Missing Children’s Network, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Free the Children, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Habitat for Humanity and last year the Mira Foundation.
This year, we have chosen One Drop Foundation as the recipient of our annual holiday donation. One Drop—a non-profit organization established in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil Founder Guy Laliberté—strives to ensure that water is accessible to all, today and forever.
Using a one-of-a-kind sustainable intervention model, One Drop develops innovative access to water and sanitation projects which promote self-reliance in disadvantaged, rural and semi-rural regions of Central America, India and West Africa. By helping people gain easier and more permanent access to water, they are contributing to a transformation that will forever improve the quality of life of thousands worldwide. We hope that our support will make a difference.
From our house to yours, may you find health, happiness and many blessings this year and always.
What charities or outreach programs did your company participate in this holiday season?
Thank you!
