CL-W6059 is a premium grade, 60-day cloth stucco duct tape that was developed for stucco professionals. Designed to protect window frames and door frames during outdoor masking applications, the tape is strong and durable and will peel off without leaving residue. The tape has a high-performance rubber adhesive, can be used indoors and outdoors, has outstanding UV resistance, and holds up in hot temperatures. This gray stucco tape is used in 2-step and 3-step stucco processes (scratch, brown, and finish) in which the protective barrier is used throughout the entire stucco application. The tape sticks well to smooth surfaces (such as steel and plastic) and rough or textured surfaces (such as wood), and conforms to uneven surfaces. Milgard recommends this stucco tape for use with their vinyl and fiberglass windows.

ME-W8306 is a self-adhesive, fiberglass reinforcing mesh tape that’s strong, yet flexible enough to adhere to contoured surfaces with ease. The tape is primarily used by stucco contractors to reinforce architectural foam shapes and trim profiles in outdoor stucco construction. The fiberglass mesh helps anchor the stucco to the molded shapes and profiles during the stucco application process. The tape is also often used to reinforce drywall joint compounds (pulling drywall joints). The mesh tape has a latex-based adhesive, and the tape won’t bubble and is tear-proof and shrink-proof. Available in blue or white, this reinforcing tape is often used to permanently hide joints cracks and repair holes in stucco and drywall.
